hi all, yesterday me and the grumpy mechanic had a wale of a time puttin on the turbo for the mini, we went for a quick blast and all was well, then we were going along the car just came on boost and the revs just sort of died down and just wudnt rev over about 4000, a couple of people have said it cud be crap in the carb, but was wonderin if u guys could think of anything else. cheers chaps or chappetts Edited by AlexB on 18th Jun, 2006.

Change the coil That fixed som eof my problems. Also, check the carb as you suggest. There might be crap in the gauze inside the float. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

If you have fitted a new plenum chamber gasket, check that it has the hole in it that pressurises the float chamber. Some gaskets don't have this hole punched in them so the car won't come on boost. |
