does any one know if the spi pump is up to the job of powering the engine when going up to say 15 psi of boost, what does the spi pump put out, "Can I legally marry people now that I am ordained in the Church of the SubGenius?" aka i know jack sh"t

I have looked into this, as far as I can tell the SPi pump is good for 1 bar, (14.7psi). If you subtract the 3psi base fuel pressure, it leaves you with 11.7psi left, so to be safe I'd say you could "probably" get away with 10psi on an SPi pump.

I would be surprised if the SPi pump will flow enough for the sort of horsepower you would expect from 10 psi boost.

how can you tell the difference between an spi pump and a mpi pump and is the mpi pump more upto the job? |
