As the weeks have slowly turned in to months, it's become increasingly apparent that i'm not going to have the time or money to finish this car anytime soon. :(

It's a 1981 shell that was restored about 5 years ago (by previous owner) and resprayed in Rover Amaryth Purple, like the late MPi coopers. The quality of work was good, although getting a little tatty now, but still a very tidy looking car. Was dry stored for 4 years before i bought it.

The front seats are the recaro's from the metro turbo and have been retrimmed in black leather and purple cloth. They look really smart. :)

The MG metro turbo lump is totally standard and has been neatly installed. Turns over fine on the starter motor, but doesn't run as it had the wrong fuel pump (broken red top instead of a roller vane) However, i now have the correct pump, just haven't fitted it yet.

It needs a new rear subby, but all the other metalwork on the car is good.

Things it will need for an MOT:
- Rear subby (this one has a big hole in in)
- New tyres x4 (would probably be cheaper to buy new wheels and tyres from ebay)
- Back section of exhaust

I'm sure this will make a cracking car for someone who has a little more time than me. I really just don't have the time for it as it's my third car and my weekends are getting booked for diy stuff. :/

Looking for around £950, which i think is fair as you could have a very tidy little turbo mini for less than £1200 once the work is done.

Car is in Tadley if you want to view.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.
