i know some people are running dizzy less ignition and was wondering if it would be possible to sneak a look at your map. i know the map will need to be different for my car but it would give a good start point. i'm using omex but any map using a MAP sensor would do as long as the pressure scale indicates atmospheric pressure at some point.

i have searched the forum but i cant see anything like this posted.

thanks

Russell

ok ive had a look and as my system is different i have to convert.

your map shows Kpa and in simple people talk i assume atmospheric pressure is 100 and 10 max vacum. so i assume 240 is around 21psi boost.

my first question is at what pressure does your cars tick over at?

my second question is does your car ever reach the 10kpa line?

thanks for your help

Your deductions are right. 100KPa = atmospheric or 0psi. 240 is around 21psi above atmospheric and 10 is getting on for full vacuum.

I think the turbo ticks over at about 70Kpa and I don't think under normal conditions it ever gets near 10KPa.

As it is a race car only the on boost and coming on boost parts of the map have been tuned properly. The non boost map works OK on my NA car though. For a road car it will need some more development.
