Who sets their exhaust and inlet tappets to different values?

Who was it that sets their exhaust and tappet values to different ammounts? Was it nic?

My feeler guages only show numbers like 0.003 or 0.020 etc, does anyone know which i should set each to?

Ive searched for ages but theres so many search results for tappets.

Ive ran the engine for quite a bit now so going to torque it again in the morning and set tapets again. When would you recomend to do it again? After 500 miles or so?

i do but i never said it, i think it depends on the cam

ehat are you using?

i set mine to 0.15" inlet, 0.14" exhaust

but if your not sure then i usually use 0.15"

oh and i set mine at the start, then when run in, or whenever it starts getting rattly

mines the turbo one from morspeed ill find out which one today or actually i might ring them and ask them
