if using 1.5.1 rollers should i use the standard tappet clearences or different ones?

If it breaks... build a much faster one

Valve clearances should be opened up by 3 thou over recommended settings, although up to 5 thou can prove beneficial with certain combinations

Give that man a pie, tappet clearance has to remain 10thou according to the book. however, since you are measuring it at the valve not the tappet, you have to set it relative to the rocker ratio. In otherwords 10thou * rocker ratio = valve clearance.

so would i be right in thinking that 15 thou or 0.38mm is an ok clearence

Its what i've always used with 1.5 rockers
