need to take me speedo drive out for a bit to try and sort me oil leak out. so im making a plate to go over the hole.

once ive taken the spindle out is it ok to leave the other little drive tshaft thing in the box. the little shaft that runs left to right on the end of the final drive nut?

Yes will be fine with it in,but if you want to take it out it is under the square block that the bottom of the radiator bolts to
