Just thought i'd have a quick check over my cam timing before the RR, make sure its all in order and i know dots are everything but i thought they should be somewhere near?

The most i've ever seen dot's out by was one tooth 17deg, but then i've only timed in about 3-4cams using the proper method. Of course that only applies to fixed gears, not vernier type where the middle moves and can acount for more offset int he dots.

The dot on the large ring can be anywhere,depending on how it's bolted to the centre.

Deffo worth checking just for piece of mind. Cam timing is easy to get wrong if you get distracted, and simon is always getting distracted by random idiots bothering him.
