just wondered what plug rating people were running. got 6's in at the mo but i'm going for 7's at weekend. anyone know any reason why i shouldn't???

balls to the blower!!!

Depends what plugs they are on ngks I think a 7 is colder,but on champions it's hotter

(But don't quote me on that)

I use NGK BPR8ES plugs out of an Escort Turbo, they have a shrouded electrode, which is nice.

I'd put 7s in as a minimum.

Why I have run B7ES for over 10,000 miles with megasquirt and it goes a treat.

will do alex. i will be getting some 8's then as it will be getting the nuts caned offov it most of the time!

Your wires arnt picking up any feedback then :cool:

Somtimes you can get all sorts of problem just down to the wrong plugs.

I must need new plus soon so I will use BR7ES I didnt know it matered I made up sheilded cable for the megasquirt which I thought was all I needed.
Throwing away the dizzy was the best mod I ever did to my turbo motor.

im just using std metro turbo plugs, champion ones

will i see an improvement if i change to some fancy ones??

what are the std ones in a ngk grade

no improvment unless they are underperforming!

std is 6 iirc

I runs 8 or even 9s depending on spec.

Sorry I dont know the Chamion numbers at all.
