Smoke coming off my turbo (paint maybe?)

My turbo is smoking!!! i had the car running absolutely fine tonite on the TT map, and was having a go at tweaking the tuning when smoke appeared. I got realy worried, but when looking where its coming from, its actually comign from the turbo casing! all the surface silver and the black on the bracket seems to be melting.

It smells like paint burning too, not oil or anything else, do they usually paint turbos like this when they refurbish them???
