I bought a new alternator from halfords, and the fan and pulley from my old alternator wont fit, the spindle is too big. I will buy the fan and pulley of the whole alternator from someone if they have one, the larger ones are found on loads of variations of minis including 1991 998s. halfords dont do the smaller type of spindle alternator and this one was cheap on trade, so would rather keep it than take it back Previous Engine: 1040cc Morespeed engine, 1275 turbo head T2 Turbo Mirage Manifolds Megajolt

These can be had in any condition from a scrappy for about £5 a piece. If you need it quickly it maybe faster to go this route... I've seen the future and tbh its Pie
