I am not that worried about it, it is costing me next to nothing to repair, i have a good friend with a body shop with all the tools.

He did do me a quote that came to just under £1300 for the record.

from the pics either the metro was passing a mini that was out for a sunday drive and cut infront at the last min, OR the mini tried it up the inside. me thinks it was the mini's fault realy.

More than anything else, that happened in qualifying. That pratt in the Mini is obviously a seasoned racer and ought to know that qualifying is about finding space for a clear lap, not dicing with other cars and forcing your way past, potentially fucking up someones elses hot lap.

If you look at the video i pass the 2 metros slowing me down in a safe manner when safe to do so. I got past those 2 just before Abbey, the slowest part of the circuit, remember he had to get past those to aswell, he obviously was trying way to hard and left the braking way too late and hit me as i turned in to the apex.

He should have aborted the lap, help back slighty on that corner and used the Miglias superior out of corner acceleration to get the lead in bridge then kept the pace on to start another flying lap. Just like i had to with slower Metros slowing me done.

When jimbo sorts out the video you will see how a Miglia and my Challenge car fare, remember a Mig is 660kg and my metro 825kg with road tryes. I have great memories of chasing Bill Sollis through the very fast Bridge corner, both cars 4 wheel drifting on the power before settling the car, braking and turning in flat in 3 rd for the complex...oohhh!
