I wish I'd known earlier. I used modified Ford Xflow Flywheel bolts..

I can't think what the remote casings look like inside. Is the centre web any thicker / stronger in appearance?

I'm pretty sure that alumimum alloys / casting technology was better in the late 70's / 80's than the sixties... But that's not to say the cash-starved British Leyland / AR actually utilised this technology - so that could well be a very valid argument. :) All i can say to this is we dont know but the proof will be in the pudding. |
