The second picture took a while to load for me, was a big white space, I though that the snow had covered the whole car before he had the chance to take another picture!

Cool car, even cooler setup!

So people. Specs are:

-1100/+040 Hypatecs
-202 head uncertain if I'll showe some 940 valves in there

So, two questions:
1. Which cam would be good for this spec? MG Metro? 266? Remember, road car no silly power.

2. CR. As I'm running a suck through setup, there's no intercooler. What boost can I safely run on this, and which CR would be beneficial then? It'd be nice to run 10psi, because this would mean I get on the red section on the boost gauge :)

head use 202 and bigger valves if you want but turn them down so you dont have to pocket block remeber to use 1275 springs and may be nessesary to shim the springs.

1. re-13T graham russel cam
2. CR. of an 1100 is around 8.5:1 standard so should be fine

the air filter looks a little restrictive.

i wish it would snow like that in england, all roads would be closed so no chance in getting to work!

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

V,

i'd fit a temp sender and just check for aircharge temps to determine your max boost. so many things can affect it otherwise.

I’m quite interested in the suck through system that was on originally, what turbo is that and how did u find it ran?

I've never run this system to be honest. Bought as a kit. It's a T3 of some sort. Infact, it looks as a bog standard Metro unit. I relly should get a smaller and modern turbocharger, but I'll use this for now to get it running.
