Take a shit before you drive, and rip off everything that can safely be replaced with composites or bolt on lighter weight replacement parts. And rip all sound deadening if that's what you're after.

strip the interior of everything you dont need and sell it to someone who wants a standard mini *hehe!* then get some either fibreglass panels or carbon if you have money for them, and strip stuff like the door alot of weight to be saved from them

Most people are a bit confused when you talk of lightening a mini, they think its a mini and nothing to them anyway but the weight you can shed off one is impressive.
Big hitters as mentioned...glass, doors, rear beam, spare wheel, battery.
Or a full nut and bolt rebuild and make sure anything that goes back (or not) is lightened in some way.

The goal is to Zero out any weight gained by being a turbo car, AKA, the Charger istself the piping the plenum and intercooler, so i will have to weight them and then see How much i need to lose.

Swap out the sound deadening and audio for an ipod and a set of head phones, everyone's happy, except any passengers- but passengers are extra weight anyway.

Ive dumped my heater. Think of the weight of all the extra water aswell as the heater itself...

Gonna get a heated front screen for winter safety.

Not a fan of ditching the heater,I think the extra coolant capacity would be of better benefit, I could be wrong but being a turbo the extra cooling is a bonus.
