Well here's were I’m up to.



Seems to have taken ages. But nearly a complete car. Sat in it for the first time in 2 yrs. :)



Took me a whole day to fit the seats mind.

But well happy with the result. 7.5kg each seat including rails. Same as fitted into R500 Caterhams.

Just finishing off the internal plumbing and doors can go on.

Then its engine in....!

Vw/Audi Daytona grey pearlescent - Part No. LZ7S.

It’s bloody dear. As I found out after I picked the colour.

When I first had it in the direct sun light it sparkled a bit too much for my liking.

But it’s actually not that bad.

i love that colour. i would love to do a bare shll rebuild some time. lots of lessons i want to learn before that tho:)

Not normally a fan of chav lights either but I think I will officially sanction those ones. It think it's the colour, it works well with them. It's a VERY nice mini!

cossierick - Yep, Harewood

Carl - Do you happen to know whats the quickest a mini has gone at Harewood?

Nic - Lights, they were the only one piece items i could get at minispares. they'll do for now.

Not a 182, but a nearly rebuilt 172 for the amount of parts its had.

Now be a good boy and fit original MK2/3 taillamps. Apart from that, the car looks fantastic.
