Its on my build page what the saving was.

how easy would it be to modify a set of brake calipers to have a handbrake? I was hoping to put a set of tarox 10" calipers on the back as well as the front ![]() Also the rear beam and alloy arms are irrelevant as you can have that with or without the disk setup, im only talking about the brakes. If you were that bothered about saving weight to spend all that money on the disc conversion, then youd look at the rear beam anyway wouldnt you surely?

I'm making a rear beam, and using the standard arms with protech alloy coil overs.

From memory I saved around 6-7kg over super minifins I seriously doubt it! |

Just checked my old notes, I was thinking 3.5kg per side, it was actually 3.5kg all up but my hubs and backplates were lightened so I saved nearly 4kg over non lightened parts I seriously doubt it! |

thanks Paul at least i have a rough idea now, i am tempted but the price is high. I would like to see the smart version too, i don't reckon its road legal though for some reason. |

Paul I'm guessing that weight saving is agaist OEM drum brake?
