there is 2 others i have seen both front wheel drive one where it jumps the dyno and slips sideways towards a wall where there is about 5 people stood and anther where the strap comes loose and it launches into a wall in front of it through a crown:(

I like the way he solves the problem of it jumping off the rollers by getting a fatter mate to sit on the back.

Not sure why, but i guess on the road you have the cars weight holding you back on the rollers you just have them to turn, he did say some thing about the surface area on a single roller is better for grip them twin rollers.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Personally i would say its speed, remember they dont floor it in anything other than top.

Plus there will be far better grip on the rollers. For example you can probably spin the wheels flooring it in 3rd or 4th on shite tarmac, but do that at the pod!

I would also say that the straps add a load to the tyres. If you accelerate on the road the front suspension lifts and removes weight from the front wheels. On the rollers this does not happen to the same extent.

The bloke said that the rollers have a 600kg inertia so lighter than most cars, if not minis.
