Hi Robert, Your spot on as usual, Quafe SC Dog box KAD CWP Mini spares drops.

tyre pressures where 30psi
Diff was 4.3:1
barometric was 1003 mb
ambient temp was 20 deg

Also for the people who are wondering why the graph of HP and Torque does not cross exactly at 5252rpm, Our rolling road computer will only output to a printer so I fet 10 points off the graph into excel and let it interpolate the lines from there its not Exact by any manner of means but It gives you a good Idea where the motor stands If anyone is better at making these graphs I would be more than 100% willing to scan the print outs and E-mail them to them.

and again thanks to everyone for the kind words, it makes the hours of painstaking work worth wile.

Robert: Hi Robert The rolling road is a Maha Rolling Road,
The figures where at the crank.
The losses where 13.6% so it has circa 121hp at the wheels.

thanks paul , i presume on a straight cut box in 4th 1:1,what tyres and pressures ,,and what diff ratio ?

cant you just scan the original print?

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

p.s. you've just got to love four ram pipes, sticking out the front of the car.

Did you run it with a bonnet? The Webers look superb.

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

They are 100mm ram stacks as we got the highest overall torque figures with them but initially we ran with 60mm stacks and could close the bonnet with ease and plenty of room for socks or K&N s

I have to admit two 45 webers just looks the muts nuts and every one that has seen the car to date says the same the sound from them is quite magical to boot.
Regards all,
Paul

Why?

i feel ,more mass eg a inlet tube full of fuel and air , gives more inertial ram effect ..also creates more cooling ,
as joe says larger droplets displace less air .in the us tunnel ram and twin carbs have proven superior to fi for these reasons .

with the right race orientated injector ,and positioning for max power , it would work well too .

Would that be based on back to back testing with same flowing TB's, one per valve and all ?

of course ! is there any other sort ?lol

but seriously ,i have seen some at some point, but no idea when , i did remember that the engine masters challenge was allowed to run fi this year ,and all the finalists and winner ran carbs! heres a link ,

i prefaced my explanation with 'i feel ' to denote a a total lack of evidence to hand .just some of my theories ,and we know how often they go wrong lol

This may be to do with optimising setup though, so maybe next year FI will be the thing to have.
