I decided to loose weight a while back. Eating properly and running 3 times a week managed to loose 3 1/2stone in a year. I found it got quite addictive! I used to hate exercise but it is really good for piece of mind!

I don't bother running anymore. With a physical job and running my knees couldn't hack it!! I just eat properly now and seem to have kept the weight off!

I spent a fair amount of time on the push bike last year, but don't have the time any more. Would like to get out on it again. At least I'm getting some exercise with the new hound.

Swansea boyo!

I went to the gym 5 nights a week about 2 years ago and got super fit plus lost a load of weight, I can't remember why I stopped going but ever since I haven't been able to stick to it. I didn't even go to lose weight then but I think I would go back to lose weight over getting fit because I miss being a size 8 haha. It's probs only the last few months I've put weight back on because of not being as physical at work. I did used to enjoy going because it does make you feel amazing but now when I get home from work I canny be bothered!

You should bring your bike in my direction one weekend. I live 2 miles from Dalby if that floats your boat, but I ride mainly from my house out in to the countryside. Got some lovely rides that aren't too 'off road' etc. I could give the bike a once over for you too. Gratis like :)

In fact, open invite for anyone on here. There's always a cuppa and check over the bike waiting for anyone.

Anyway, I'm off to the gym. *happy*
Shoulders and core today.

Used to go the gym religiously in my early 20's after I quit Karate but fell out with it.
Went back to Karate in my mid 20's but quit when I broke a rib!

Did fuck all since and got fat (or fatter) so recently have bought a cheap bike (to see if I get one with it) and have been trying to get my arse out on it on a regular basis.

Have dropped about 8lb's in last 2 weeks due to getting the exercise and eating a bit better. 2lb more and I'll be under 14 stone! (not been under 14 stone I was about 25!)

Oh, and to add, I'm not one of those riders that enjoys going riding with people to try and break them. I have NO idea why people do that.
My rides tend to be countryside, views, single track and 90% of the time, a pub *happy*
Unless that is someone wants to ride some hardcore stuff, in which case, game on lol. Just wait for me. Lol.

I have a bike, 24" hardtail jump bike. Don't get any proper use out of it anymore except riding to work and back. I used to spend hours and hours out on my bmx, that kept me fit. Don't do that anymore though, sold it and can't afford another, nor would i use it as intended.

Go gym, varying amount a week, and varying effort levels, its a good crack goin with a couple mates on an odd weeknight and offen ends in a pint after. It dosnt affect me if i go or not really as my work is fairly phicically demanding, so its nice knowing if i cant be arsed it dosnt matter. Lol

I have to do it for work as well, and I hate it! Wouldn't mind if I could do it under my own accord but it's because I have to is why I hate it. Luckily we did pft before leave so squared away on that front

Easy, Gin + tonic. If you want to lose more than 2 weeks, don't bother with the tonic.

Vodka, Whisky, Brandy. All has the same effect.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Good effort! I didn't get so far, managed 2 days of the PRMC before I figured communal living wasn't for me. Best of luck with your application. I'm going to get back to my application level fitness though. Gonna smart smashing them press ups!
