Hello :),
there is nothing wrong with a A-series that a turbo can't fix.

I'll post my results jim, did you ever get any info on this? ive fitted the oil probe in the sump plug, but now thinking that the oil temp matters in the galleries not in the sump obviously it will alter with oil pressure i guess, but would be nice to see how the temp of oil in the sump compares to oil in the galleries under pressure. Might get one of the those fancy sandwich things to go ontop of the filter, whack the probe in there "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"
