What sort of RPM you running at Engine-tuner to achieve circa 300 bananas. RBR quote 312bhp at 12000 RPM. I do remember there being a chap who built a 970 based screamer using the KAD head red lining at 13000. He was using chain drive due to the negetive aspects of the syncronous belt. It was Cover story in Miniworld some years ago. He painted the car pink too. LOL

Where did you get the Radiator that fit's in the grill? Is it for the aftercooler? I would be a player for one of those. Cost? Also, do you have quick disconects to remove for service to starter and alternator? Newby from the states with a 1275c.c. turbo. Thank you in advance for your support.

i think someone ought to dig out an old copy, i am sure it was a 1400 odd cc, and 13000 , never.

1st to provide proof of a running Bimmy Conversion!

hee hee,,,now now boys, settle *smiley*

& to Engine Tuner...inlet manifold i made from alloy pipes welded together with bell mouths in each inlet tract (trick stuff really) & a single throttle body underneath & the exhaust manifolds i made up from scratch using aircraft grade stainless (helicopter stuff apparently @ about $7 per inch. Ouch!!!) I really don`t think the std BMW exhaust piping would have stood up to it for any length of time & really didn`t want to have to do it all over again after a problem, the other engine i have is also using the same expensive exhaust material but the turbo is right behind the head with very short runners & the intercooler is in the right hand inner mud gaurd

hope to have some pics of the 2nd turbo twinky assy ready for you guys soon, but as i said earlier , i`m working more on my Alloy V8 mini at the moment , as the Monaco fastback body isn`t ready to accept the twinky yet.

Oh & Dboatman... i made the intercooler up to fit, not the pretty-est in the world but the core is a good hi-flow unit. the second powerplant is getting one hidden in the right hand inner guard

& Fastcarl ...i really think i need to talk to you about some titanium for my Down Hill push bike frame design, any reason you may think of as to why i shouldn`t use titanium for a pushbike frame??? let me know & sorry to change the subject, been meaning to talk to you for ages about it *smiley*

& yeah 13,000rpms (cough!!!) yeah right, even my Sth African cranked lge Journal short stroke turbo Bimmer will be lucky to pass 11,000 & that`s just preying *smiley*
