new here and wonderd wich turbo to fit,,,,

i have 2 turbos, both T2 renault5 turbo's one of them is watercooled....
wich one would you guys recommend me to use....
i'm planning to get me a front mounted radiator.

would it also be wise to buy the mirage setup or just make an adapterplate for the turbo...

Don't really matter if it's water cooled or not.Some peaple use the water cooled one with out the water pipes connected.
If you use the mirage manifold you don't need to put a turbo box in the bulkhead,which you do when using an adaptor plate / T2 on a metty manifold

well. the bulkhead box is already there...so it would be cheaper using an adapterplate...or has the mirage setup more bennefits ?

any other method requires fabrication, so it depends on how practical you are as well as your budget and time scale.

i personaly made my own adaptor and down pipe, but thats just me

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

mirage kit does also need some fabricating of parts like actuator brackets etc that an adaptor plate may not.

Mirage has its place for where a bulkhead box is not wanted for one reason or another.

As for watercooled or oil cooled, then the answer is whichever is in better condition!
