braided hose is fine, as long as the bore is big enough, what size is it?

But remember guys, 8mm copper line is quite a lot bigger than 8mm braided hose.

nope. there both 8mm. otherwise you should have put "10mm copper is bigger than 8mm braided.lol

as long as the both are internal diameter then i would have put the copper pipe as having the smaller OD

Methinks copper pipe has the thinnest wall thickness as well. Not sure, may have to do some measuring lol :)

There is no sense crying over every mistake- you just keep on trying til you run out of cake.

In the garage......again!!

does the feed back have to go in the top of the tank so that the returned fuel 'pours' into the tank unrestricted or can it really be T into the supply before the pump, i don't really see that working properly as it will stop the flow return although i know that people on here have done it, i'm going to be attempting this this week and just need it clarifying.

'T'ing into the low pressure (tank) side of the pump with the return has been shown to work fine.

This is how I plan to do mine on the road car, although the hillclimber returns to the tank.

Mine returns to the top of the tank - works fine for me. Just remember to purge the tank before welding.

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt... Then it's hilarious!
