im converting a spi car to turbo.i know i need to change the dizzy. was wondering what is the best to go for? i have seen race, or rally ones for sale. which with a lucas sports coil would be best suited to turbo aplication?

A turbo dizzy has a lot less mech advance and a lot more vac advance than a normal dizzy. This is to limit the advance curve when on boost. have a search around and the part numbers are in here, plus some other ideas.

ok. i mean the car was an spi. it will be running a carb. i mean its a headache converting an spi to carb(with a turbo too) as iv not doe any of these before! i have a standard turbo dizzy.is it best to use this for my build? ta |
