Order a swift head gasket and try it over the top of an a-series engine. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Unless you can reverse the head, I think the cam wheels are on the wrong side. |

It looks the 'right way round', I'd order a gasket and see how close it matches up. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

being 1400 and modern engines are over square, the bore will be bigger than 74mm, so no, by by reasoning, it wont fit On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

Hold on was this idea not in a thread not too long ago asking "does anyone recognise who this is" or something like that, where you saw the engine sat on the floor while it was run up!

Idealy you need to find an engine with no bigger than 71 mm bore, as they will have spaced the bores equally, and have a reasonable chunk of metal between them, unlike the A series. Anything bigger than 71mm and the alignemet goes all to fuck.
