The last time I brought some it was from Hoopers Motorsport but sadly they're no-longer trading.

Your best bet is either Demon Thieves or Merlin.

I have used stuff of ebay and also the best I have used so far was from Kit Car Solutions. They quite often advertise in Retro Mag or PPC

I bought the DEI stuff off ebay, it came in a kit with a silicone based spray you spray on it after its wrapped which stops you getting that horrible itchy rash everytime you touch it. Works great as well.

Just remember to overlap it by half and keep it as tight as you can and you should be fine

North of the Netherlands

Some time ago I heard something about a reduction of heat that could come of the manifold resulting in more heat in the head and valves which could lead to (valve) damage.
Any truth in this?
(I am building a supercharged engine I have a normal LCB, not a turbo manifold if that makes any difference.)

take off the turbo & manifold
wrap up tight and secure with two metal zip ties or hose clamps

nigh on impossible in situ, i should know lol!

also do the downpipe too
should take around 2/3 meters to do

i did this on my manifold took it of 1 year later and my exhaust was so rusty and had a crack in the part were the two tubes meet, might not be down to the wrap but worth considering, i still would use it on a turbo though with it getting very hot

i see since the motor is fresh it will be done off the car no problems there
i had read some place from google that it causes rust so i thought well why not paint it?? so i think ill use the VHT paint them have some 2000f stuff worth a go under the wrapping to help with the heat as well
