The car in standard trim, the Metro Turbo could produce upto 10psi of boost.

I thought standard boost was upto 7psi? |

i'll let someone else give a full explanation, but boost pressure is only a tiny tiny part of it.

He asked for the maximum and I stand by that figure. Most often than not the little box of tricks would allow the Turbo to deliver 7psi but some cars were more equal than others and as standard some produced 10psi of boost. Edited by Mr Joshua on 1st Jul, 2009. Own the day

I've never heard of any metro turbo making 10 psi on the standard setup. You have to ring the neck of mine to get it to 7 psi, as it only gets there above 6000rpm.
