Dose any body know what those seats are called, or who makes them? They look like cobra classics but with nice headrests!

I think that might be a Sprinzel Rally 3 or Karobes highback?

That is one sweet car.

Puts some road going Marcos's to shame.

Cooper99 - Graham: something to aim for with yours mate ???!!

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.

Ultimately I'd like to think so (ever since I saw johnnysti's car at Slarks - I don't want to alter the bulkhead, and the 'charger at the front would fit better with the cars shape) but realistically I want to get the thing built first - I've never built a kit car before!
But it did come with an engine:

I've got an MPi engine/loom/ecu etc to go into it, so when it is up and running I'll have another engine to play with. Oh, and I want to keep it injection, so I'll have to learn about mapable ecu's and the like. It's not going to be a quick job!

People would get bored with a build thread Richard, it'll take so long!
I am putting bit & pieces on the minimarcos forum, as I get the stuff together. So far I've cleaned/greased the complete wiper mech ready for install, likewise an MPi heater unit, got the column and switches sorted, picking up an MPi tank (to use the pump and swirl pot/pipework in a van tank) and ecu/alarm module and key fob, scratched my head over the MPi loom I've got (figuring out the connections), ported my own head ready for fitting, debated whether to strip the engine down for a rebuild yet or wait until the shells' ready to receive it (and changed my mind a dozen times!), built up a front subframe/brakes and driveshafts, got the bare rear subbie prep'ed etc etc....
What I really need is to be in the same location as the car then I could make some meaningful progress *oh well*

Looking at these pictures, you've pretty much got the entire build as it is anyway *happy*
So I'll just keep lurking on here, learn a few things, ask a few questions *wink*
Oh, and I may as well ask while I'm on - does anyone have a good 2.9 diff going spare (I know it's not the 'wanted' section, but at least here you'll know what it's for!).

ETA Yeah, I'm loving the colour too - it would've been the colour I'd have ordered for the shell! Bonus is, someone else has paid for the prep and painting *tongue* (Porsche GT orange)

Just thought I should maybe get this thread back on track, the ebay car belong to a MiniMarcos club member (a '71 Mk3 car) been owned by the same guy for a little while I think.
The car being for sale was mentioned in the last club mag.

ETA And now I've just read the ad properly and it's all mentioned in there *oh well*
