I'm currently designing a new chassis for my trailer. Can't aford a brand new trailer and second hand ones seem to be too big or expensive.
I have a trailer which I am going to rob all the suspension & hitch etc from.
Rather than getting one chassis made to my spec, I could get several done which would be cheaper per unit for me and anyone else thats interested. Maximum size car it would take would be a metro obviously. *happy*
Thinking along the lines of a Brian James style formed chassis rather than box section etc. It would come un-coated.
What are your thoughts?

Will do Paul. Like I said, chassis only....buyer to add their own suspension, tow hitch, jockey wheel & lights. Will post a picture up once I've drawn it on the old cad. *happy*

Edit; I may get a quote for hot dip galv.

I just bought a metro sized trailer for £225. Gets a metro on it with 4" to spare. Admittedly it's a cut down caravan, but it tows really well.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Yep, I'd be interested.
Ideally it would be of a final length & width that it will fit into a standard single garage, be twin axle and also come with long ramps to give as low a loading angle as possible.
