if your salaried i'd assume if you put your notice in on 14th, your last day will be 13th |

i used to be paid monthly but my notice was 4 weeks. To be honest they are usually flexible. Agree a start date with the new place then work from there. I went to work for a competitor so even got the 4 weeks at home paid |

I have previously given four weeks notice, but I was asked which day I wanted to leave at the end of those four weeks. The four weeks is to give your employer the time to organise the paperwork, not litterally terminate your employment exactly one month after you hand your notice in. However, some employers do, while others might ask you to go earlier, but if they do, make sure they will pay you the full month, unless it doesn't put you out of pocket. Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:
