Thought I'd trawl through eBay to find me a turbo and saw a guy selling these:

Yeah, I'm really tempted, but it wouldn't get used for a while as I haven't built the car for the engine to go in yet... or the engine.

Email him and ask if its garret he has to be genuine or you can just get money back off ebay and they are one turbo and 240 squids short Gaball said:

Clearly a copy, you will notice the advert wording does not mention the word "GARRETT" anywhere.

apparently some of these chinese turbo's are terrible... turbines made of normal steel, brass bearings, massive clearances ect.

Straight away. The actuator is different as is the signal hose to the genuine gt1752. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

I used to remanufacture turbo's at work, alot of the stuff there mentioning we never had problems with. And surely if theres corosion inside the actuator it was there prior to remanufatur David. |

I bought a genuine Garrett (in the box) GT17 for £310, so not that cheap really! Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
