I'll never buy a second.hand engine again, unless I took it out of their car running. It was advertised as a 96bhp engine but unknown spec, he said he had the printout, got it home... First thing I did was take the head off to find it was siezed. I almost managed to get the flywheel off without locking anything up... Once the rings let go of the bore walls it actually turned over ok but the bores were shot. Every part turned out to be standard in the end, I managed to use some of the parts as doner parts for my new engine, expensive lesson to learn. |

It may be as described, but he's had it on a crap roller which got the power figures masivly wrong.
