Any ideas what the ratio is? I'm running 13" wheels if that makes an ounce of difference. I think i should be looking for a 3.1 if i remember correctly? Sound about right?

Did you ask?

I believe the minisport diff pins are at 90degrees to each other where-as the tran-x/minispares ones are offset somewhat.

If you search back in the depths of the forum I have a feeling someone broke one of these.

I'd say probably OK on an NA engine, for a trubo making good torque I'd try for the offset type.

And in any case it isn't like a new one is THAT much more expensive anyway.

Yes, iv'e searched through some threads and found the broken one..

Guess i'll skip this one then and rather go for a new minispares one :)

Thanks btw, and thanks for the offer John!

What are the chances of actually breaking it though? I'f theres only one broken on the whole of the forum, that could be put down to a jammy product rather than a whole line of useless diffs not fit for the job?
I'm still thinking its worth taking a punt unless anyone proves me otherwise?

Hmm true, but the one broken was the minisport one, and as far as i know minisport have made theirs like minispares, with the pins offset, while the old ones were 90 90. So i dont know acutally :p a new one isn't that much more.

For peace of mind I would be getting a minispares/tran-x item. I have a strong aversion to anything minisport.
