Dont suppose anyone has a windows 7 starter disk?

Trying to fix Lisa's niece netbook and it seems you have to get one from the manufacturer (toshiba) as they dont sent them out with them

thought i would try here before i contacted them

Well this has been a total ball ache

Unable to get a copy so rang toshiba who said that it was £30 to download the OS from them as lisa's niece should have set up a backup disk, i told them they were taking the piss the notebook was 4 months old and under warrentee and what 11 year old girl knows how to backup her note book and anyway i doubt a backup disk will resore windows 7 boot manager file.

Toshiba could not care less

I refuse to give the robbing f***ers at toshiba any money so bought a restore disk from ebay for a tenner from this lot http://www.wightretail.co.uk/ and it worked a treat

so beware of notebooks and the manufacturers who get extra money from you because of windows common problems
