Hi im on the look out for a 2nd car to use as a run around. I found this 2 miles from my gf's house. What do you think about it?

Looks OK if it is just a runabout you want. The Fiats can have head gasket problems, rot underneath even on what is only a 10 yr old car, and the rear trailing suspension arms collapse. So look out for all of these things. (Trailing arms is on the older shape model- unsure if this shape suffers or not).

Personally for your £650 I would look for something that does not rot- Peugeots although they have their faults are very good in that dept.

I used to work for a garage where the AA operated from and we used to do a couple of headgaskets a week on these and the earlier punto's.

one day boost will be mine!

I would get a mk3 golf, there the cheapest of most the vw's and they just keep going and going :)

Just sold my Lupo and loved it. Great little cars, if you did go down the lupo route look out for ones with new pedal boxes

Not very sunny swanage

for that sort of money i would be looking at mk4 golfs i think, or possibly a mk4 astra (although i know people will hate on me for that comment!!)

And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers!

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

They rot from the outside, where there usually isn't any oil...
