Hi im on the look out for a 2nd car to use as a run around. I found this 2 miles from my gf's house. What do you think about it?

well for 100 quid more i got a 1999 vw lupo and it was puka! that looks crap

Looks OK if it is just a runabout you want. The Fiats can have head gasket problems, rot underneath even on what is only a 10 yr old car, and the rear trailing suspension arms collapse. So look out for all of these things. (Trailing arms is on the older shape model- unsure if this shape suffers or not).

I used to work for a garage where the AA operated from and we used to do a couple of headgaskets a week on these and the earlier punto's. one day boost will be mine!

for that sort of money i would be looking at mk4 golfs i think, or possibly a mk4 astra (although i know people will hate on me for that comment!!) And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

A friend of mine has an astra diesel and his sump has rotted through.
