no its a double bladed angle grinder, i only have two walls to chase so paying 70-100 for one is a bit much

Elbow grease! BFH and a bolster chisel will see most things off, or even borrow an SDS drill that has hammer and a chisel for it.

Ooh, not nice.

Definately try and get hold of an SDS with a chisel if you cant find a chaser, they make short work of most things.

HSS hire shop or your local equivalent may be worth a try

I bought the cheapest of the cheap SDS from Argos about 9 years ago for £35 to drill 1 hole through masonry. Its still going strong, so if you can find a cheap one, it will most likely do what you need.
The proper chasers are mega though I must admit.

I have one if you want to nip down for it Be aware when you use one of these inside after cutting about 300mm you will not be able to see anything in the room for the fog lol

Why don't you just use a grinder & cut to lines? Coz them chasers still need the centre chiselled out anyway after the cuts

As above. Just use a regular grinder with suitable disc.

Just use a bit of wood or similar and mark the track width. Oh, and get ready for the dust !!

Or if you watch tv in the mornings, get the Worx Sonic Crafter !!

It'd probably do it, and relatively cleanly too....but might be a little slow.

Last option. Pay someone to do it. Tracking is a bloody hateful horrible job.

speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

grinders fine but creates to much dust, you can attach a hoover to wall chasers that cut the dust down, ill have look at local hire shops

Whenever you like, its not the actual chaser spiny thing but its pretty good. I dontreally use it that much so when ever is fine. If I need it your not that far! I'm about most evenings.
