i thought it might be interesting to see where the A series pistons get melted most often.

your standing in front of the car ,and looking down on the piston top,

see the top of the piston as a clock face ...

12 o clock is the point nearest the scuttle/windsceen . 6 o'clock is the point nearest the grill .

pick a number !

i'll do another poll for what cylinder it is too .

Nitrous meltdown. Melted spark plug electrodes probibly promoted pre ignition. Problem only evident on one cylinder which might be the symptom of something else.
