Recently bought a gtm coupe just going through the electrics now and got most things working. I am right in thinking I need to have a warning light for the foglights when they are on and needs to glow orange? Thanks

Any question. Can I put reverse lights on a switch instead of the sensor on the gearchange? I can't seem to work out where it will work

Yep, as long as it's labelled i think. Or just leave it altogether, reverse lights aren't tested.

It's why I never bothered putting one on when i went to the mk2/3 lights or whatever they are. But replaced my foglight as it was previously my right reverse light.

While it may not be a testable item, I'm sure you can't have a white light to the rear unless reversing, therefore the plod may have something to say if you forgot to switch it off?

Indeed reverse is not tested. All other lights are unless non are fitted. In which case they cant be tested.

If your reversing light is not automatically switched on by selecting reverse, then you must have a tell tale fitted. Only a problem if you get a really picky copper, but it isn't hard to use an illuminated switch anyway.
