Gents,

I have had a new fancy tv box fitted and it says if I can connect it hard wired to the Internet then I can be a boring twat and record programmes via my phone when I'm at work etc.

My tv box is downstairs and my Internet hub is upstairs, I don't really want to run a 20m Ethernet cable through the house, the tv people advise these powerline Ethernet connection which I can connect next to the router and tv and use use small Ethernet cables and it uses magic to send Internet down the electric and thus keeping my amused during toilet times at work.

Has anyone used these, are they steady/reliable connections?

Any help is much appreciated.

David
