Gents

Hopefully someone will know where to get one of the above

There are plenty on ebay but they are all about 3 miles long

I only need about 0.5m ideally but 1m would be OK, but any more is just too long.

Its to go from the in dash cd player to in dash head unit in the new Shogun hence I don't want a birds nest of wires behind the dash if poss.

Its 13 pin DIN male both ends.

Thanks
Tom

I've looked but it might be a case of getting the soldering iron and heatshrink out and shortening a lead down mate :/

Here is an example of what I'm after,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KENWOOD-13-PIN-C...2#ht_2601wt_986

Just not so long!

I think you are right Carl, I think I'll end up buying a long one then cutting it down to suit and soldering it up.

I remember fitting auto changers into these when they were new. Stupidly long cable had to be hidden anywhere possible.
Maybe maplins sell them?

After failing on Maplins website yesterday there is a store locally so called in yesterday afternoon, no better there they had nothing even vaguely close.
Bought a cheapo long cable from ebay last night so if it works properly then I'll cut it down to a suitable length and remake off the joint.
I'm just hoping its right, as on the back of the in dash changer, there are two sockets, one 13 pin which matches the one on the head unit, and another circular one with an odd pin layout, which I've no idea what it does, and am hoping the answer is nothing!

The other could be for a dash remote or controls or something
