What the hell is this lug for? It's blanked off from the oil pickup point, but it doesn't look like it does anything?

ah yeah, course it is! its been 4 years since i last had this engine apart, and about 6 years since i had a dizzy. lol

They even have them in MPi blocks with no dizzy hole. Carl milled mine off for me. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
