hi whats better the t2 renault 5 turbo or the saab turbo .allot of people seem to prefer the saab one what is the benefit. I would rather a turbo that comes in early than one that give all top endjavascript:void(0)

Depends on what your build will entail, also have a search between turbos alot of info arround, also quite a few people o big boost engine use gt20's and gt22's

Im intending to run 15 psi with aims of 150+bhp
the last decision is the turbo.And the dilemma of weather i can obtain a manifold that will fit my van shell or will i have to accept mutilating the engine bay
thanks for all your advice im new to turbo d minis.i have loved them from a 12 year old boy having grassed track raced them . My last experience of tuning was a 380 horse 2 door subaru but my obsession for minis has drawn me back

I would go GT1752 on a mirage style manifold.

Im very happy with the hybrid t3 that i run. Makes good power on my setup!

does the gt1752 come in as early as the t2 .im trying to steer away from the t3 because of the size

The GT1752 is like the T2 but modern and massively more efficient.

Search for a thread by Robert tittled GT17.
