I used paints tripper on mine (3 coats) but it still left paint on there so I ended up sand blasting it off i the end.

I asked something similar about a month ago Brett.
Nitromors was just crap. It seemed to just move the paint around lol. 2 layers of it started to help, but in the end I had really good success with a drill and a wire finger brush. Took maybe 2-3 hours all in (I did it over a few days) and got it back to completely bare metal.
I.e these.....

I've just updated my build thread with the results of blasting, it's never been soo clean! Lol

I bought the paint from eBay, and it was excellent!

Well nitro morse is wank !! Even yellow hamerite could fend it off and that is the worst paint i have ever used
In the end scratching / chipping got the front of the block done

And if the pic works , my secret weapon... revealed !! If it doesnt then mwahahahaha

I found that the original engine enamel is extremely hard to remove, no matter what you use.

I'd also echo what the others have said. H&S and environmental regulations have taken all the good bits out of paint strippers.

Not sure if the chemical washes the engineering places have would take off paint?
