while I can't actually lift a finger to the car, I've been thinking of all the little details still to be sorted.

As much as I hate the place, I've had plates made at Halfords. Their name is just barely visable, at least on the white front plates. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

Ebay "show" plates for me, come pretty sharpish, well priced, and no wanky print at the bottom.

Same as tom, eBay show plates are your best bet. I looked at this the other day, it's illegal to sell road plates without suppliers info, but it's not illegal to display them without this info as long as they conform to the usual stuff On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

the rules only apply to new plates; I could have quite easily had the plates made legitimately a few years back; indeed the plates I have for the car are blank and were perfectly legal to obtain at the time of purchase |

hopefully Andy, but it is going to depend on how quickly my hand heals. only saving grace is that I'm off on holiday shortly for a couple of weeks which will allow a bit of healing time. |
