lads im after an easy and most importantly free program to draw up some flanges for the manifolds and other bits i have in mind so i can send them off to the lazer cutter for a price

never tried it but should work for flanges and such



you can even get 45 days of full Solid Edge ($4000 + $1700 yearly) for free. But that is a steep learning curve.

189 usd buys geomagic personal. but you can get a professional version 30 days trail free..

To be honest if you draw out what is required with decent dimensions using a pencil and paper that will be good enough for most laser cutters, they can soon draft it up in their software for you anyway.

there is a free version of Solidedge (2d only) on thier website, we use the full package. it will allow you to export to DWG etc as most programs do nowdays.

Sir Yun that second link is windows xp/vista only for anyone else that may use the link lol
tom think i might just do that just thought itld be nice to give them more of less what they can plug in and print out me trying to save 2 bucks lol
