Only thing I have to say is the filler cap looks like a cheap alloy pop bottle lid. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

How would that fair on an engine , especially a turbo one after a decent heat soak? woud it turn a soft and saggy? I think it would unless its pre preg and autoclaved On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

Me thinkst the thread on hear a few months back with the standard rocker cover produced in carbon has spawned the obligatory poor quality copies. Crying shame!! Own the day

dont know not looked into carbon too much its not the carbon thats the issue really, its the resin its suspended in. most aftermarket car parts are just wet layed like fiberglass, and imho its just fiberglass for tarts. doesnt have the stregnth/lightnes/awesomeness of carbon fibre prepared in the same manor as proper motorsport teams do. I wouldnt be supprised if it turned to yellow jelly after a while but perhaps a suitable resin is being used. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

I use West fast glass or Araldyte 420 (expensive) if you can stomach the cost but utterly stable unless you set your car on fire then all bets are off. Own the day
