I was thinking of similar stuff but the appearance isn't as nice as a quality felt in my opinion

a quality system isn't cheap either.

Betwix Harrogate and York

I had my flat rooves (dormers) replaced with EPDM. was really neat and had a 25 year guarantee with 50 year life expectance.

Wasn't that expensive either.

You could just tar it. Cheap and quick. Plenty of bitumen companies around. Dpt on what the roof structure is to hold the weight.

The turbo build has finally started

Needing to do a replacement on a single pitch roof
myself and glad to hear wils remark on epdm as that's what im drawn towards using.
The tar idea sounds good if it's to tie you over until
you get it tiled.
