They were shorrock gaycharged back in the day, so don't see why a turbo wouldn't work. Would probably bab itself pretty quickly though. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

If you can source some proper old racing pistons for it and a 295, this would be as smooth as silk... On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

I remember some bloke in the states who supposedly had a titanium crank, rods, custom pistons, head ect was going to turbo cant remember what happened to him/it Drives

It was just a thought as will have the engine spare soon so unless I could find a set of pistons it wouldnt be worth it |

personly i wouldnt do it, alot of money and hassle for lest power than a 1275, spend the money on the 1275 |

There is a cream mini with red wheels rear mounted turbo which is an 850 Drives

I had a shorrock on my 850 moke and have looked at building a tuned 850 for it, in the end I put 1275 which cost me £200
