its a chamber that bolts to the carb to allow a hose from the turbo to be fitted to the carb,

rather than just putting a pipe onto the carb which would lengthen the induction system a chamber is used so the engine "sees" the carb as the end of the induction system.



there is a restrictor ring inside the plenum that is a tad smaller than the carb, this ensures the pressure in the float chamber is slightly higher than in the carb so the fuel actually goes where it is supposed to.
